EssentialsX adds a number of features into the game, including an economy feature, teleporting, kits etc. It has a lot of behind the scenes useful features from an admin perspective, as well as a Discord plugin that allows me to keep an eye on the server console in my Discord server as well as allowing direct chat between people in Discord and those in-game.

LevelledMobs adds a new dimension of challenge to Minecraft by applying a scaling level to mobs as you get further away from spawn. Increasing levels means that mobs have more health and deal more damage - even when wearing a Netherite God Suit, a group of L50 skeletons can overwhelm you if not prepared! This plugin was added to help keep some combat challenge in the PvE aspect of the game (previous versions of this server used MobHunting but it was abandoned by the developer in 2023). Boosted rewards does cap out in a physical area after a while, so a kill macro won't let you break the bank!

EconoMobs adds monetary rewards for killing mobs, as another method of helping grow your balance. This was added for DolanServ 5 to replace the kill reward feature previously part of MobHunting.

Citizens adds NPC functionality to the server - at this point in time, it is only being utilised for chunk loader bots when people purchase them. There is a lot more the plugin can do, but at this stage I feel like the enjoyment comes from interacting with your fellow players rather than me creating a bunch of NPCs to simulate players/try telling an RPG-style story.

SellStick adds the ability to sell everything within a chest with a single click, which makes automated farming so much less painful as a money maker! Somehow this plugin still works without a hitch despite last being updated in 2021 - not gonna question it, will just enjoy the ride while it lasts! One important thing to note is that it does not ask for confirmation when selling - if you right-click the wrong chest, those items will immediately be sold to the server.

SilkSpawners allows you to destroy a spawner with a Silk Touch-enchanted pickaxe and receive the spawner as an item rather than the vanilla gameplay mechanic of it breaking. This means you can collect spawners found in dungeons to build your own farms without having to dig everything out, and move your farms around as your base grows and needs change. You can also change the mob type in a spawner by right-clicking on it with a spawn egg to change it to that mob type. Most vanilla spawning limits still apply to the spawners.

Upgradeable Hoppers brings a new dimension to hoppers, traditionally one of the biggest sources of server lag. It allows you to purchase a new type of hopper (alongside vanilla hoppers, it doesn't replace them!) that can wirelessly link to chests, be set up to filter item types to save building an item sorter, transport multiple items per tick and be upgraded to have a greater radius of affect rather than just the single block above it! InvisibleItemFrames adds extra functionality to item frames, allowing you to set a glow around them, make them invisible (but still show the item within the frame) and click through the frame to be able to open your containers still. To rotate the item in the frame, hold SHIFT and right-click.

BetterHappyGhast allowed me to fix the default speed for Happy Ghasts, which fixes their most frustrating issue (who on earth thought making them travel slower than sprint speed was a good idea?!). Speed adjusts based on the number of players riding the ghast, with a solo rider being fastest and 4 players being slowest.

LuckPerms is probably the best permissions plugin out there, allowing me a ton of flexibility when setting permissions either per user or per person. It also allows me to (using groups) set a nickname for people, which is how I have QuaccKing next to my name in-game. If you'd like a custom group name for yourself, absolutely feel free to let me know! It's a 0 cost feature.

WorldEdit is an extremely powerful map editing tool that can generate new structures, restore chunks to their original generated state, and even copy/paste locations. This allows me to do things like shift someone's base to a new location (I had to do this in early July 2025 to move TenthDoctor89's skybase out from above Ozzypride's main one).
